FAR - FARCOLL Policy
FAR S.p.A. and Farcoll S.p.A. have set up a safety management system and an environmental management system together with the firm management system so to guarantee the balance between the firm aims and the requirements of prevention concerning the accidents, the health safety and the environmental protection.
Every company works out plans for the safety of own workers, the third party, the neighbouring popolutation and for the environmental protection and particularly is engaged as follows:
- to assure that the extent of the risk is consistent with the safety of the workers, the population and the environment;
- to assure the observance of the law and rules regarding the safety and the environment or the undersigned regulations and the national standard;
- to establish and keep an environmental management system as per UNI EN ISO 14001;
- to reduce the environmental impact of the workings through the checking in the use of energy and resources, of the water discharges, the production of the waste materials, so to pursue the improvement and the prevention of the pollution;
- to organize the human resources concerning the personal competence, the responsibility;
- to use suitable resources so to carry out the technical, organizational, management interventions;
- to plan new plants as per the safety and health rules;
- to get the best concerning the consumption of the energy and the water and to reduce the production of the waste materials which can be delivered to organizations for the recovery;
- to plan the environmental matter together with the operative management system regarding the factories and the firm development program;
- to uptodate own aims of improvement, using the best available electronics;
- to guarantee information and training to all workers;
- to apply the surveillances procedures, so to check the fulfilment of the present policy through periodical inspections, so to verify the efficacy of the measures taken concerning the emergency situations;
- to guarantee information to the third party concerning the present policy;
- to make sure the present document is at disposal of all;
- to get a high efficiency for the safety and environmental management, checking firmly the industrial processing;
- to carry out a “safety MANAGEMENT PROGRAM” and a “ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT PROGRAM” together with all the workers and to check and verify the programs periodically.
The Safety Management System and the Environmental Management System have been developed on the above points.
The General Management invites all the workers to participate actively, so to carry out the policy for the safety and the environment and the related Management Systems which are the actual instruments regarding the safety of the workers and the environment.
